Experience Dancing Swallows

A visit to our ‘outdoor tasting garden’ is a unique experience. Located under the largest of the farm’s maple trees, the centrepiece of the garden is our tasting bar / reconditioned shipping container.
The effect is a bit West Coast, a bit food-truck festival, with some heritage farm buildings thrown in for colour. Surrounding the tasting bar is a garden with its own microclimate. (It’s a very big tree.) And we have plenty of picnic tables and Muskoka chairs to let you enjoy the garden.

Come into the Garden

An outdoor-only tasting area does mean the full tasting area isn't available year round. We try to be open May to October. And it does get interesting on the less clement days, so we suggest checking out the forecast before planning a visit.
What we can promise is an experience unlike anything else in the area. And some pretty good wine.

Plan your Visit

Our Outdoor Tasting Garden is open from May to October, so outdoor Tastings and Wine by the Glass are not available for the winter (unfortunately).
However, pickup of online orders and tastings for small groups can be done on Saturday 12 – 5, or other days by prearrangement.

Visit in the Winter

During the winter the Tasting Garden is closed, but we still do tastings for groups of up to 4 people and bottle sales most Saturdays from 12-5 in the 'Egg Cave'.

How to Find Us

8704 Essex Road 9 (Howard Avenue), RR5,
Amherstburg, ON, Canada

Due to bridge construction on Howard Avenue (County 9), the direct route from Windsor is not available.

We recommend either jogging over to Walker Road and going through McGregor, or taking the scenic river drive on County 20 through Old Town Amherstburg.
Some of the concession roads can be used, but are in rough shape in places.
